Tony Stoltz:
- Went over the accident at the So. Cal Region El Capitan tournament on April 1, 2007. There was no notification to any of the board members of this. Non-Boater was on in an affiliated club and it was the second even that he had fished. Went over the importance and necessity of anglers being affiliated. If they are not affiliated then they are not covered by our insurance. Any incidents should always be reported ASAP to the State Tournament Director as well as the President.
- Went over the importance of all anglers being in a affiliated club and it’s the tournament directors responsibility of making sure they are in a current club.
- Executive board needs to get together and figure out how to get the clubs the information on how, when and why to become affiliated. We get $1.00 per member for affiliations from TBF. We need to get the affiliations in a timely manor.
- Tony will verify all State Team members are up to date and affiliated before the Western Divisionals.
- ISE show was a huge success. Kids had a great time. Left over Balloons went with Tony. Also, Tony has patches with our new logo
- Board Members not in attendance on conference calls, board meeting, etc. Conservation Director absent last several meetings. Bi-Laws say we can ask then to step down. Board discussed options. Tony cannot get in touch with Bob Monson via email or phone. We have no updates from him as to what he’s working on, currently or previously. We haven’t heard back on the New Melones grant or project. Gary suggested that we contact Bob to see if he wants out, or has a replacement, or wants to stay on then he needs to be more active in communication and involvement. Tony will try to contact Bob with these options.
- Tony brought up the expensive cost of our new logo being stitched on to the shirts. We may want to consider doing screen printing or different style shirts in the future. Something more cost effective
- Possibly shift sponsor product to be given, or mailed, directly to clubs as opposed to the regions for distribution.
