Board Of Directors Meeting
May 6, 2004
Call to order at 7:10 pm
Roll call
Those in attendance: Kelly Steele, Ben Willis, Scott, Sal Gervasi, Gary Bradford, Larry Wilson, Craig Eller, Archie Steele, Bruce Carpenter, Bob Monsen, Tony Thomasy and Brian Day.
The minutes of the last board meeting were read and accepted with no changes.
Treasures report
Read and accepted with no changes we have a balance of $27,000.00.
Conservation report
The Delta Stamp is a done deal the federation wants to know what the state is going to do with the money.
Youth report
Broana Bubata won her division at Tulsa and she will be going to the classic to be representing the West.
Kids classic
California will be representing two representatives to fish in the Kids Classic in North Carolina.Ã, Anglers marine in Anaheim is sponsoring the children and their parents and are paying for air fair and B.A.S.S. is picking up the hotel rooms and meals for the children and parents.
State Jr.Bass Masters finals have been pushed back to October as we were able to move regionals to June of 2005.Ã, Location of regionals will be either Arizona or New Mexico.
There is still time for clubs who are interested in sponsoring a youth club to start one and have a team ready for finals in October.Ã,Â

We need tournament directors to give information within 36 hours of the tournament.
Notify web master if there are changes in meeting times or ramp changes.
Pictures/ please make sure the current sponsors are on the banners.
On line tournament reservations: this will be cost prohibitive.
Old Business
Federation national championships/ meetings with nationals went much better than last year there was much more accomplished.
Rich Welch thanked the federation and Gary Bradford and Sal Gervasi and all of the sponsors on stage.Ã,Â
Bass will go exclusively with Triton and Mercury at the classic – no more alliance program.Ã,Â
Ranger/ will be giving more money to Ranger cup and they will also give the state 400.00 for every Ranger boat sold to every federation member.Ã, Also, Ranger cup money will be doubled if we hit fifteen hundred members in the state.Ã,Â
New sponsorsÃ,Â
Mustad, Mojo and Bass Wax.Ã,Â
Allstar Rods will give state team members up to ten rods at cost and they are also giving the rods for the state championships.
Lowrance/ will give us seven hundred dollars in product this year
State Classic report
Motel six looks like it will be the closest hotel room with the most convenient parking for those staying at the classic.Ã,Â
Banquet: We have still not found anyone to provide the banquet yet.Ã,Â
We will have to launch at packers and weigh in at Bridgebay.
Ã, Pre tournament meeting will be on Friday night and the location to be announced.Ã,Â
A letter will go out to anglers with all details closer to the tournament date.
Offer two free entries to four guys that will work the state tournament.Ã,Â

2005 Tournament schedule/ Jamboree is coming up tournament director please get your dates gathered and meet at the jamboree.Ã,Â
