Lake Sonoma, CA (August 14, 2004) — The California BASS Federation Sacramento Region 3 finale was won by veteran Northern California angler Charlie Delight, who topped the field on Lake Sonoma with a solid five fish limit weighing 16.30 pounds, with a 5.43 Big Bass.

The day got off to a start as the field of 15 anglers gathered at the public launch ramp at for check in and for the boater – non boater draw. The field launched and blasted off at safe light on a cool, chilly for August type of morning.

Back at the public ramp the boats weighed in a total of 44 bass that weighed 106.04 pounds.

Second place went to Mike Rheuby who weighed in a solid five fish limit of 14.76 pounds. Mike won the Big Fish award for the event with a largemouth bass weighing 5.49 pounds, Big Bass for the tournament.

Third place was taken by Gary Bradford weighing in a 12.09 pound limit.

Ten anglers from region three qualified for the B.A.S.S. State Federation Final at Lake Shasta November 6th and 7th. Angler of the Year for Region 3 is Tony Franceschi.
