Lake Berryessa, CA (February 27, 2005) — The second event for California BASS Federation Sacramento Region was won by federation angler John Lake, who topped the field on Lake Berryessa with a five fish limit weighing 13.08 pounds, with a 4.67 pound largemouth bass for Big Bass.
John also takes the lead in the Angler of the Year race for region three with 207 points earned to date.
Bruce Carpenter took second place with an 11.10 pound limit. Pat Wilson took third place and weighed in 10.62 pounds.
The event was run from Spanish Flat and the 18 angler field weighed in a total of 75 bass that weighed 139.77 pounds.
Next tournament for Region Three will be a dual event with Region Five on Clear Lake March 13 out of Lucerne.
