REGION 5 - SHASTA Tournament 5 - Almanor
Another great tournament at pristine Lake Almanor. As usual for this time of the year we had a lot of bed fish going. Some of the anglers competed in the Burney Open the day before and had a great time. For the third year in a row, Mark Schroeder took 1st place, followed by our tournament director Tony Thomasy. Eldon Viera brought in a nice fat 3.55 lb. bass off a bed. Fish in excess of four pounds were caught in prefish. Alan Hunt's third place win moved him up to our regions Angler of the Year. This is Alan's second year in a row taking AOY.
